Things to do at surf camp, like YOGA classes!

Surfing

Our daily surf lessons emphasize fun and safety in a non-competitive, supportive environment. You will learn about ocean safety, surf breaks, surf equipment, paddling and standing techniques, angling, surfing etiquette and crowd dynamics. Beginners will be standing and riding waves by the end of the trip. Intermediate and advanced surfers work on duckdiving, accelerating, and maneuvers. We use targeted techniques to help you bypass common mistakes and speed up the learning process. By incorporating video sessions and group review, we offer students a fun and effective way to see what they are doing and focus on technique. Our instructors have years of experience, are CPR and First-Aid certified, and have taught hundreds of people just like you to surf.

Yoga

Daily yoga practice is the perfect compliment to surfing. Our hour-long session is low impact and concentrates on developing flexibility and strength. Yoga techniques also improve focus, balance, and awareness, important skills for surfers of all abilities! There are many positive benefits and advantages which come from yoga meditation; however it is important to understand the basics of the activity before becoming involved in it.
